We rebuilt a site for a long-time client of TeraScape, our other company. www.chefholveck.com hosts stories, recipes & Escoffier news from Chef Eric Holveck, who's been serving up dishes for years, in France, the United States, China and Thailand. Have a look at some of his culinary ideas at his site!
The holiday season is almost over. The presents have been unwrapped & the egg nog & hot chocolate has been drunk. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and a safe upcoming New Years!
Are you curious as to what your browser is sending out to the world? This site will tell you, as well as how to cover your tracks. Most of the time, a little plugin called "NoScript" would be all you need. But if you really haven't done a whole lot to secure your browsing, you may need more. Do a browser checkup once in awhile & keep your info & your browsing habits safe & sound.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us to all of you! Stay safe, eat your fill & enjoy your football games!
We just finished up a prototype site for both the Cocos & Christmas Island airports. These sites will be simple sites to be used to introduce the airports and their amenities, and let travelers know about what to expect before & upon arrival. The site did use some flight widgets, but will soon be replaced by a professional 3rd party provider of flight details. For now though, the sites are live, and all we plan to do at this point is to tweak them here & there for better functionality.
To our sister company, TeraScape's clients, enjoy Golden Week, and watch out for those fireworks!
The Department of Homeland Security is issuing warnings regarding scams and more, in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Have a look at the article in the USA Today for more information & what to watch out for. A bit from the article is below.
"The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is warning individuals of the potential for “malicious cyber activity” by criminals as the aftermath of a Category 4 hurricane continues to batter parts of the country."
Here's another one to watch for. The fake SEO renewal scam. We don't know this company, nor do we work with this company, but they send emails (that go to the spam box anyways), all the time about our many domains. Here's their latest email.
The following is a typical email from some company that we do NOT do business with:
